Managing life..

Do you ever have a list of things you want to accomplish but can't seem to tackle it? I've been having a hard time tackling my list. This isn't just a to do list for things around the house or errands, this list is hobbies and general daily life things. I would like to get back to couponing and fitness, cooking specific recipes I have saved, finally build the upholstered bed that I have wanted. Those are my to do things. With work, I feel like I just cannot find the time. I also want to tackle our debt as well, that's a huge to do that I want to work on. My thought is to manage my time correctly and keep up with this blog to help hold myself accountable. I'm going to try to set goals as well as be able to achieve those goals so I can cross them off my list. It's very easy to say what I will be doing as I am on vacation and have a ton of time on my hands, but my vacation ends in two days and will be back to work and have my limited time. But I will still make i...

Pokemon go

Image
What do you think about this Pokemon go craze? When I was a little girl I used to collect Pokemon cards with my brothers. The crazy thing is, my son loves Pokemon. Before Pokemon go came out and everyone was talking about it, he begged me every time we went to target to get him a pack of Pokemon cards. We even found a Pokemon comforter at our local goodwill last year. He had a few stuffed Pokemon as well. His dad would actually play a Pokemon card game online with our son. So now all of a sudden Pokemon go comes out and nearly every person on my friends list is in to Pokemon. That is mainly why I am so annoyed by the game. I decided to finally download it myself simply because I work in a town 22 miles from our home, so I have access to other items and stops etc., today I actually captured the following picture today. This was hilarious, and my son played along very well!!  So what are your thoughts on Pokemon go? Who is your favorite character? And what are som...

BACK TO SCHOOL!!

Image
School time is coming up super fast! And with school getting ready to start there is the need for back to school supplies and clothing. This year my sons school requires uniforms, so we will need to go back to our uniform purchasing. When we lived in Pennsylvania the schools required uniforms there, then we moved to Florida and his local school didn't. The best saleI have found so far would be at Old Navy. I usually use my Old Navy credit card to make my purchases there and received an email that I had earned $15 dollars in rewards. So we will for sure be getting his uniforms there.  As far aas school supplies, we have been watching the Office Depot sales ads, and weekly they have been having penny items with a $5 dollar purchase. So we took advantage of the items they had for a penny last week and will be going back this week for more of the penny items.  In the past we always just went to walmart with the assumption they have the lowest price, b...

Easy @ Home Scale review

Image
Hey everyone, Thanks for stopping by my blog, today I will be doing a review on the " Easy @ Home scale ". The following picture was what we saw upon opening the box. It came with an information card and the instructions, the scale had a pull tab on the back where the battery compartment was located. This scale comes with 4 AA batteries which is nice, as my last scale came with a smaller circular battery. The black sleek design makes it look great in our bathroom no the glass top gives it really great look as well. This scale has a really great Bluetooth feature that allows you to download the free app so that the readings can be automatically sent to the pp and recorded within the app. That makes for easy tracking if you are trying to monitor your weight. This is a really great feature for a bathroom scale. This scale gave a good reading each time my son got on it, but when myself or my husband got on it, each time the reading was off by .xx which was...

Vacation time

I have been off work for a week now and go back in Monday, this is my first real vacation from work that we actually had fun and did stuff instead of staying home. We went to a water park, the zoo, the beach, and visitors family. And it's our 1 year wedding anniversary this week as well. Although we have been together for 10 years. We truly did enjoy ourselves, I'm sad to have to go back to work but very happy to have this job that gives me a great pto package. I feel so blessed to be able to do this. I will have another week off in July and we are hoping to go down to key west. I have never been down there but I just know we will love it!

Diet Bet

So I participated in a diet bet for this past month, a diet bet is a website where you can basically bet you can lose a set percentage of weight within so much time. I had to lose 4% or 11 pounds in 4 weeks. The original bet for my challenge I was in was $30 dollars. The pot grew to about $19,xxx. When it was all over, I won more than I paid due to those who did not achieve their weight loss. My winnings were $47.55. That is absolutely motivating! I'm going to wait to join a new one, but I will be joining again soon. That's better interest than most banks can pay!! Haha

Making a come back

Today I am going to attempt to make a come back to all of my old channels. I used to have a couponing youtube channel as well as a couponing blog. Both were quite successful. Although I am no longer a couponer as I used to be, I still enjoy creating content for users to enjoy. Whether that be a post about my day or something I am upset about or even something I found to be amazing. I want to bring that information to those who are interested. So I am leaving my two posts that I previously had on this site, nothing has changed about who I am other than my age!  This blog will be random, there will be no consistency at all here. I may post about my weightloss journey on one post then my family or a review on another. I do hope you stick around!!  Welcome to my LIFE!
